1. Lavender essential oil

Help to relieve the pain and redness of burns - Apply lavender essential oil to a burn and experience almost immediate relief.

Promote calm - Lavender is well known for its calming properties.  Rub a couple of drops on the back of neck and shoulders.  Inhaling also works wonders.

Help to relieve headaches - Put a couple of drops in your hand then inhale.  Then rub a drop on your temples, the back of the neck or across the forehead.

Help to relieve insomnia - Put a couple of drops on the back of the neck and shoulders or inhale it.

Uplift mood - Diffuse or put a couple of drops in your hand and inhale.  Apply directly.  Lavender essential oil has balancing properties that can boost stamina and energy as well as relaxation.

Improve skin condition - Put a couple of drops in the cream or lotion you use.  Therapeutic grade lavender essential oil is highly regarded for beautiful skin.

2. Lemon essential oil

Improve the taste of drinking water and purify water - Put a few drops in your drinking water.  Lemon essential oil is delightfully refreshing in water.

Uplift mood - Diffuse lemon essential oil.  It has a strong purifying, citrus scent that is revitalizing and uplifting.  It is beneficial for anxiety and promotes a sense of well being.

Powerful antioxidant - Lemon essential oil is cold-pressed from the rinds of lemons, and lemon rind contains the highest nutrient in the lemon.  IT consists of 68% d-limonene, a powerful antioxidant. 

Help to soothe sore throat - Lemon essential oil has antiseptic qualities and supports immune function.  Mix 1 drop lemon in half glass of warm water.  Mix well then gargle.

Purify the air - Diffuse or add a few drops lemon essential oil to a spray bottle and spritz into the air.

Disinfect & clean - Add a drop or 2 of lemon essential oil to water for disinfecting and cleaning floors, laundry, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.  Use a drop of lemon to disinfect your hands after using public restrooms.  It also works well in removing gum, oil and grease spots.

3. Peppermint essential oil

Help to relieve headaches - Put a couple of drops in your hand then inhale.  Then rub a couple of drops into the temple area, carefully avoiding the eyes.

Help to relieve nausea or motion sickness - Put a drop on your tongue and get relief from motion sickness.  It works in seconds.  Sometimes it is enough just to inhale the peppermint essential oil.

Help to clear stuffy nose - When your nose is congested, try putting a drop of peppermint essential oil on the side of your nose.

Help to relieve temporary fatigue or lack of energy - Inhale peppermint essential oil to get the day going and is very valuable when traveling to a new time zone and getting into the new day.

Help to relieve pain - If you bump or bruise yourself, use peppermint essential oil to relieve the pain.  Put a drop on the area.

4. Joy is the essential oil blend of bergamot, ylang ylang, geranium, rosewood, lemon, mandarin, jasmine, Roman chamomile, palmrose and rose. 

Uplift mood - Diffuse, put in bath water, over the heart, on wrists, neck as a compress.  (Note: Joy has citrus oils in it.  Citrus oils are photosensitizing, so avoid applying to skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight or UV light.)

5. PanAway is the essential oil blend of wintergreen, helichrysum, clove and peppermint. 

Help to reduce inflammation and to promote healthy circulation - PanAway was created by Dr. Gary Young following a severe injury to the ligaments in his leg.  Containing wintergreen essential oil, which is often used for massage.

Help to soothe the skin - While providing comforting warmth to muscles after exercise, it helps to soothe the skin.

6. Peace & Calming is the essential oil blend of tangerind, orange, ylang ylang, patchouli and blue tansy.

7. Purification is the essential oil blend of citronella, lemongrass, rosemary, Melaleuca alternifolia, lavandin and myrtle.
